The Kandinsky Quartet – founded in Vienna in 2020 – is quickly making its presence felt across Europe. With a keen ear for color and a sharp musical instinct, the ensemble explores the richness of the string quartet repertoire through four distinct characters and artistic perspectives.

In April 2024, they were awarded First Prize at the Gasteig Competition in Munich. Previous accolades include prizes at the Boccherini and Mozart Competitions, as well as the “Verbier Anniversary Prize.”

Engagements in 2025 include performances at the Solti Hall Budapest, Villa Musica, Sala dei Giganti Padova, Reid Hall Paris and festivals like Mozartfest Würzburg, Inventio Music, Impuls Graz, Il Circolo Di Ave, Gent Festival and Teatro Civico La Spezia, where they will perform together with Marie Chilemme (Quatuor Ébène).
